Senior Consultant - Human Resources Practice

About the role

Michael Page, a global recruitment firm with offices in more than 30 countries, is recruiting a Senior Recruitment Consultant for its Human Resources practice in Singapore. You will manage end-to-end recruitment while building strong client partnerships, with a structured career framework, training and support and exposure to specialist HR markets.

Key responsibilities

• Build relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their businesses, HR structures and hiring needs
• Identify new business through market research, client outreach, referrals and networking
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: client briefings, candidate sourcing and assessment, interview coordination, offer negotiation and placement follow-up
• Build candidate networks across HR business partnering, talent acquisition, talent management, learning and development, compensation and benefits, HR operations and HR leadership
• Work with hiring managers on job requirements and assess candidates against skills, experience and achievements
• Advise clients and candidates on talent availability, remuneration and hiring requirements
• Prepare recruitment proposals and negotiate fees and service terms within company guidelines
• Maintain accurate recruitment records and uphold confidentiality and fair recruitment practices

Required profile

• Experience in recruitment, human resources, sales, business development or account management
• Interest in HR and willingness to develop specialist market knowledge; experience recruiting for or working within HR functions is an advantage
• Ability to understand HR job requirements and communicate with hiring managers and candidates
• Commercial awareness and ability to identify business opportunities and develop accounts
• Clear communication and negotiation skills, with a consultative approach
• Strong research and organisational skills, able to manage multiple assignments
• Ability to work independently in a collaborative team
