Senior Designer – Digital Transformation for Legal Services

About the role
The Attorney-General’s Chambers (AGC) is modernising its legal drafting and knowledge‑management systems. As a Senior Designer you will lead the design of AI‑enabled search and evidence‑based tools, working closely with legal professionals and technical teams to create intuitive, data‑driven experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct user interviews and workshops to uncover search behaviours and define requirements for an enterprise search solution.
- Map current service journeys, design optimal user experiences and produce service blueprints for new capabilities.
- Develop design concepts, wireframes and interactive prototypes using Figma, iterating based on stakeholder feedback.
- Produce detailed UI specifications, handover assets and design frameworks for future projects.
- Collaborate on consolidating siloed datasets, establishing tagging and metadata standards, and preparing data for AI‑powered tools.
Required profile
- Proven experience guiding design from discovery through implementation in complex, data‑rich environments.
- Strong ability to translate legal and technical requirements into user‑centred solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to work with cross‑functional teams and senior stakeholders.
