Senior Interior Designer

About the role

Hachem Architecture is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to lead high‑end commercial, hospitality and residential projects across Asia and the Middle East. The role combines client‑facing leadership with end‑to‑end design delivery, ensuring each space reflects the studio’s story‑driven philosophy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage interior design projects from initial concept through to completion.
• Act as the primary client‑facing contact, building strong relationships and managing expectations.
• Translate client requirements into creative and practical design solutions.
• Develop design concepts, mood boards, space planning and detailed documentation.
• Prepare drawings and 3D visualisations and present proposals to clients.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and suppliers.
• Oversee project timelines, budgets and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure design intent is achieved.
• Mentor junior designers and maintain high design standards.
• Source and specify materials, finishes, furniture, lighting and FFE selections.

Required profile

• Degree in Interior Design or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience with strong client‑facing and end‑to‑end project delivery background.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of construction detailing, materials and regulations.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management abilities.
