Senior Designer Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Designer Engineer to lead the development of Transmission & Distribution (T&D) solutions, evaluate customer specifications, and coordinate engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Propose T&D solutions that meet customer requirements while complying with codes, standards and industry best practices.
• Evaluate specifications and bid documents to define technical parameters for electrical designs.
• Lead engineering efforts, coordinating with clients and design teams during bidding and execution.
• Prepare and review detailed design packages, including single‑line diagrams, BOMs, general arrangements, specifications, schematics and calculations.
• Support Factory Acceptance Testing, Site Acceptance Testing and commissioning activities.
• Contribute to standardisation and continuous improvement of T&D solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 5‑8 years of experience designing power transformers, MV/LV switchgear and prefabricated substations.
• Strong problem‑solving, coordination and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel overseas when required.

Required skills

• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Familiarity with Eplan (plus).
• Familiarity with Etap (plus).
