Senior DevOps Engineer, Global Financial Markets Technology

About the role

DBS is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer within its Group Technology function, which manages the majority of the bank's operational processes and delivers banking services across multiple channels. The role sits in the Global Financial Markets Technology team and is based in DBS Asia Central.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end release deployments, including planning, testing, production readiness and cutover activities.
• Coordinate with application, development, infrastructure and support teams to deliver releases on schedule.
• Execute deployments, change requests and release activities in line with bank policies and standards.
• Support UAT and release environments, including installation, configuration, monitoring, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Automate build and deployment processes using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket and Jira.
• Manage source code repositories, branching strategies and deployment pipelines.
• Support code quality and security scanning tools such as SonarQube, Fortify and OSS scanning solutions.
• Perform patch management, environment support and production release activities.

Required profile

• 3-5 years of experience in DevOps, Release Management, Application Support or related technology roles.
• Experience in banking or financial services environments is preferred.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive and eager to learn new technologies.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, Jira and Confluence.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, release management, source control and deployment automation.
• Familiarity with infrastructure platforms, information security concepts and production support environments.
