Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Our client, a leading technology services provider, is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their Engineering Team. You will be responsible for designing, building and operating scalable cloud infrastructure that supports high‑volume data platforms. The role requires a hands‑on professional who can work independently and lead small cross‑functional groups in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with software engineering and product teams to create and optimise fully automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Drive automation initiatives that improve developer productivity, enable self‑healing systems and enhance monitoring, logging and alerting.
• Break down complex technical problems into actionable plans, manage timelines and coordinate cross‑team dependencies.
• Define and enforce architectural best practices, task planning standards and comprehensive documentation.
• Champion engineering hygiene by ensuring security, compliance and performance benchmarks are met.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Proven expertise in container orchestration, particularly Kubernetes.
• Extensive experience with Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools, especially Terraform.
• Background in scripting operational workflows and using automation servers like Jenkins.
• Practical knowledge of modern monitoring, logging and troubleshooting tools in hybrid or public cloud environments.
