Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Our client, a leading technology services provider, is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their Engineering Team. This hands‑on role will drive infrastructure automation and lead small, cross‑functional groups in a fast‑paced environment, supporting high‑scale data platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with software engineering and product teams to design, build, and maintain fully automated CI/CD pipelines and deployment routines.
• Lead automation initiatives that improve developer productivity, enable self‑healing systems, and enhance monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Break down complex technical challenges into clear, actionable plans while managing timelines and cross‑team dependencies.
• Establish high standards for task planning, architectural best practices, and comprehensive documentation.
• Champion engineering hygiene to ensure systems meet strict security, compliance, and performance benchmarks.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience managing public cloud ecosystems such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proven ability to work with container orchestration platforms, especially Kubernetes.
• Experience driving automation and infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform and related configuration‑management tools.
• Demonstrated skill in scripting operational workflows and using automation servers like Jenkins.
• Practical knowledge of modern monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting tools across hybrid or public cloud environments.
