Senior Dietitian (Maternity Cover)

About the role

Woodlands Hospital, part of NHG, is recruiting a Senior Dietitian for maternity cover from October 2026 to May 2027. Dietitians provide dietetics services to inpatients, outpatients and the community, working with multidisciplinary teams to give Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to patients who need specialised nutrition intervention alongside their medical treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based Medical Nutrition Therapy to patients with a range of health conditions
• Apply the nutrition care process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, monitor, evaluate and document nutrition care
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient-centred care
• Explain the nutrition care plan to patients, family members or caregivers during hospitalisation and on discharge
• Manage workload effectively while maintaining safe patient care

Required profile

• Degree or Master's in Dietetics from a recognised university
• Minimum 6 months of clinical internship
• Fluent written and spoken English, and fluent in Mandarin, Malay, Tamil or a dialect
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Willingness to work well with team members and to keep up to date with evidence-based medical and nutrition information
