Senior Director, Solutions Architecture, APAC

About the role

Cohere is seeking a Senior Director of Solutions Architecture for the APAC region to own and expand the Solutions Architecture function across Singapore, Japan, Korea and Southeast Asia. You will lead a technical team that delivers secure, production‑ready AI deployments for banks, telcos, industrial firms and governments that require data sovereignty.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead the APAC Solutions Architecture organization, hiring and developing talent to provide in‑region depth.
• Drive technical wins by designing and presenting secure, scalable AI solutions for regulated, on‑premises, hybrid and air‑gapped environments.
• Define the vision, coverage model and operating rhythm for the region, collaborating with sales, product and engineering leadership.
• Create repeatable solution‑selling methodologies, industry playbooks and executive narratives to improve win rates.
• Partner with regional sales leadership on territory, pipeline and joint accountability for revenue targets.

Required profile

• 15+ years in Solutions Architecture, Technical Consulting or Enterprise Architecture, with at least 7 years leading customer‑facing technical teams.
• Proven experience building and scaling a technical organization across multiple APAC markets and a strong network of senior technical and executive contacts.
• Hands‑on credibility in deploying AI systems at scale, especially in regulated or sovereign environments.
• Commercial acumen to influence strategic deals and articulate business value to C‑suite stakeholders.
