Senior Events Officer (RSIS)

About the role

The S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS), a graduate school of Nanyang Technological University, is looking for a Senior Events Officer. The successful candidate reports to the Head, Events and acts as Event Lead for events.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for RSIS' Events Unit.
• Act as Event Lead for events.
• Assist the Event Supervisor in organising and managing events, covering all administrative and logistical tasks such as liaising with speakers and guests, arranging flights and accommodation, dealing with vendors, managing budgets, running rehearsals and virtual test calls.
• Monitor the progress of event planning and execution.
• Ensure event administrative and operational requirements are met.
• Ensure compliance with RSIS and NTU policies and regulations.

Required profile

• Diploma with 1-2 years' relevant experience.
• Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Proficiency in virtual events software is preferred.
• Knowledge of the ITQ/ITT procurement process is preferred.
