Senior / Executive Architect - MRT Station Enhancement Works

About the role

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) is hiring a Senior / Executive Architect to carry out schematic design proposals and coordination of enhancement works for existing MRT station buildings and related infrastructure, from concept to construction. The role supports projects that promote quality architectural design and a sustainable transport environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare tender specifications, feasibility studies and documentation, and liaise with and coordinate consultants and contractors.
• Manage the architectural design and site management of enhancement works.
• Write proposal funding papers and prepare and deliver presentations.
• Review developer building plan submissions and contractor shop drawings.

Required profile

• Knowledge of architecture, preferably recognised by the Board of Architects, Singapore.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in architectural design and practice.
• Able to communicate ideas clearly through writing and speaking, and to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Interest in design and problem solving; able to multitask with good time management.
• Rail project experience is an advantage.

Required skills

• BIM and CAD software, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, MicroStation and Revit.
• Visualisation tools such as PowerPoint, Photoshop, InDesign and Canva.
