Senior Executive, Assessment

About the role

The Student and Academic Services Department (SASD) supports students from admission to graduation, working with schools, colleges and autonomous institutes. This Senior Executive, Assessment position sits with the Office of Academic Services (OAS), which administers the university's academic policies and services. The role covers the processing of academic results, maintenance of academic records and post-result activities.

Key responsibilities

• Create exam records, handle course withdrawals and dissertation-related matters, and process, release and review marks and results.
• Maintain and update academic records for students on leave of absence, credit transfers, exemptions, programme withdrawals and programme changes.
• After results are released, support medals and prizes administration, compile and file mark lists and reports, and share student academic information with stakeholders.
• Support the degree conferment process and provide regular data to the Ministry of Education (MOE).
• Handle queries from the role-based mailbox and from students and schools about academic records, and maintain access to secured folders.
• Support senior officers in implementing policies and advise schools on procedures and guidelines.
• Contribute to business process streamlining, workflow design, process automation and system enhancements.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma holder with at least 3 years of experience in administration; entry-level candidates are welcome.
• Prior administrative experience is an added advantage.
• Meticulous, organised, proactive, efficient and able to multi-task.
• Able to work independently and as a team player, with good written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in office IT applications and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Working knowledge of databases and process management.
• Familiarity with the Personal Data Protection Act regarding student data.
• Working knowledge of VQL and exposure to RPA or AI tools are added advantages.
