Senior Executive / Assistant Manager – Finance

About the role

The Viva Foundation for Children with Cancer is seeking a senior finance professional to oversee its accounting operations and support its charitable mission. The role combines full‑set accounting responsibilities with strategic budgeting, donor management and compliance duties.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with the VIVA Finance Manual
• Maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Handle the full set of accounts
• Prepare the annual report and file statutory obligations, including GST and IRAS reporting
• Prepare month‑end financial, treasury and management reports
• Liaise with external auditors and relevant sub‑committees for account reviews
• Manage funds and bank accounts
• Develop and track the annual budget
• Track inventory and assets
• Maintain donor records and issue receipts
• Manage the website/platform for donation collection
• Ensure accounting compliance and governance
• Set up SOPs for all accounting functions
• Perform any other accounts‑related tasks as assigned

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, ACCA or equivalent
• At least 3 years of relevant experience; experience in a well‑established accounting firm is a plus
• Experience in a charity or non‑profit organization is advantageous
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical mindset
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Candidates with appropriate experience/qualifications may be considered for the Assistant Manager position
