Senior Executive / Assistant Manager – HR Faculty (HR Shared Services)

About the role

The Senior Executive / Assistant Manager in HR Faculty (HR Shared Services) will coordinate key HR operational activities for the faculty population at NTU. The role ensures smooth, timely service delivery for faculty hiring, contract renewals, exit management and concurrent appointments, including senior university leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Administer exit management, faculty hiring, contract renewals and concurrent appointments.
• Prepare letter addenda, process job changes and other appointment‑related updates.
• Maintain accurate data in the HRIS, including hire data, one‑time payments and costing allocations.
• Provide secretariat support for off‑site meetings and ensure SLA compliance.
• Identify and implement process automation, digital workflow enhancements and technology‑enabled solutions.
• Review and improve Standard Operating Procedures, service controls and governance frameworks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore’s Employment Act and labour laws.
• Ability to handle a high volume of administrative transactions and multitask effectively.
• Excellent written communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Meticulous, resourceful and capable of working independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with PowerPDF.
• Working knowledge of Workday (advantageous).
