Senior Executive / Assistant Manager – Support & Patient Operations (Emergency Dept)

About the role

The Eastern General Hospital (EGH) is building a modern, patient‑centred emergency department. We are looking for a dynamic Senior Executive / Assistant Manager to support planning and operational excellence, ensuring optimal patient care delivery and experience.

Key responsibilities

• Support the planning and daily operations of the Emergency Department, collaborating with clinicians and stakeholders.
• Develop comprehensive patient journey maps and workflow diagrams, integrating clinical and operational inputs.
• Assist in resource and manpower planning, work instruction development, and ORAT (Operational Readiness, Activation and Transition) activities.
• Provide secretariat support for departmental meetings, events, and cross‑functional initiatives.
• Train new frontline staff and progressively lead staff development and performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in healthcare or staff management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to engage diverse stakeholders.
• Analytical, planning and critical‑thinking skills with a proactive, action‑oriented mindset.
