About the role

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) is recruiting a Senior / Executive Engineer in Tunnel Engineering & Technology. The engineer provides geotechnical and tunnel specialist support to other LTA divisions on land transport infrastructure and developments.

Key responsibilities

Design management, tender preparation and evaluation, and claim assessment
Independent technical analysis
Tunnel structure maintenance and rehabilitation, including protective and corrective measures for existing rail tunnels
R&D projects and implementation of innovative tunnel engineering technologies

Required profile

Civil Engineering knowledge or equivalent
At least 5 years of relevant experience in geotechnical design and construction of deep excavations and/or tunnels, and/or tunnel structure maintenance and rehabilitation
Keen interest in land transport infrastructure projects
Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
Candidates with strong relevant experience may be considered for senior roles; those without experience but showing keen interest and aptitude may also be considered
