Senior Executive, Production Planning & Inventory Control

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Executive to lead production planning and inventory control for multiple product lines. The role ensures material availability, meets customer delivery dates, and drives continuous improvement through digital initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales administration to commit machine shipments that satisfy customer delivery requirements.
• Execute successful MRP runs after each plan release, aligning material supply with production schedules and sales forecasts.
• Maintain optimal material order quantities and lead times to support the production plan.
• Coordinate closely with purchasing and suppliers to guarantee timely material deliveries.
• Regularly review planning parameters to improve inventory turnover and reduce excess stock.
• Perform inventory analysis, monitor work orders, and ensure timely completion.
• Manage engineering changes to minimise obsolescence and integrate updates into production.
• Prepare month‑end machine completion reports and lead annual physical inventory.
• Supervise the planning team, fostering performance and achievement of objectives.
• Lead digital transformation projects aimed at enhancing processes and productivity.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Manufacturing, Production Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in production planning, inventory control or a similar role.
• Hands‑on experience with MRP systems, preferably SAP.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Leadership experience and the ability to motivate a team.
• Experience in precision manufacturing is an advantage.
