Senior Finance Manager

About the role

The Senior Finance Manager will join the Corporate Development team, providing finance and administration services across the organisation. You will work closely with senior management, funders and partner agencies to ensure robust financial governance and support the KidSTART programme.

Key responsibilities

• Lead preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual management reports and coordinate statutory financial statements and audit schedules.
• Coordinate the annual budgeting exercise, monitor budget performance, and support business units with financial planning and forecasting.
• Oversee payment runs, review payment exceptions and aged payables, and ensure vendor payment governance.
• Act as finance lead for audit fieldwork, prepare responses to audit observations and track remediation plans.
• Review grant claims, utilisation and funding reports, monitor compliance with funding agreements and reconcile partner agency disbursements.
• Review financial controls and SOPs, conduct periodic controls assessments and support risk‑management initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business or a related discipline; professional qualifications (CA Singapore, ACCA, CPA) are an advantage.
• At least 8 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, preferably in a charity, non‑profit, social‑service agency or public‑sector environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, regulatory requirements and statutory audit processes.
• Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
