Senior Financial Analyst - Payments & Incentive Operations

About the role

A global payments and financial technology organisation is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to lead client incentive accounting across APAC markets. The role covers end-to-end management of client incentive operations and finance transformation initiatives, with a hybrid working arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounting, reporting and financial governance for client incentive programmes in line with accounting standards and internal policies.
• Analyse commercial agreements to determine the appropriate financial treatment and assess programme performance.
• Drive process optimisation by automating and streamlining finance and accounting workflows.
• Use data analytics, AI solutions and reporting tools to improve efficiency and business insights.
• Partner with Finance, Commercial, Legal, Compliance and Operations teams on programme execution and compliance.
• Support finance systems enhancements, digital transformation projects and process improvements.
• Strengthen controls, service quality and turnaround times using structured problem-solving methods.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline.
• At least 6 years of experience in finance, accounting, financial operations or controllership within financial services, banking, payments, fintech or related fields.
• Proven track record in finance transformation, process improvement, automation or systems implementation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional work in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and internal controls.
• Experience reviewing commercial agreements and assessing their financial implications.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI and advanced Excel.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled solutions and automation in finance.
