Senior Financials Functional Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Financials Functional Consultant to join Workday’s APJ Financials team in Singapore. You will lead the implementation of Workday Financial Management solutions, working closely with customers to translate business needs into effective system configurations.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with customer project teams to design, configure, and deploy functional requirements.
• Become an authority on the Workday Financial Management product suite.
• Capture business requirements, build prototype configurations, and support testing activities.
• Assist customers in converting legacy data into Workday.
• Work with integration consultants to configure and test integrations with third‑party systems.
• Apply Workday’s implementation methodology across all engagements.
• Mentor junior consultants and ensure compliance with delivery checkpoints.
• Provide status reports to the Engagement Manager and help customers achieve referenceable production status.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience implementing or supporting financial/expense management ERP solutions (e.g., SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, NetSuite, Lawson).
• Previous consulting experience within a software or services firm.
• Strong functional expertise in at least one finance area such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Procurement, Asset Management, Projects, Expense Management, Financial Reporting, or Budgeting.
• Passion for customer service and proven project‑management capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
