Senior Industrial Engineer – Semiconductor Manufacturing

About the role

SSMC is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer to join its Industrial Engineer Department. The role focuses on capacity planning, equipment layout, cost management and continuous improvement within a semiconductor fab environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance capacity planning methodologies to ensure accurate mix and capacity targets.
• Develop layout plans for production equipment and coordinate timely installation.
• Lead tool‑to‑tool matching, benchmarking and best‑in‑class performance initiatives.
• Update and manage tool capacity and productivity databases.
• Oversee capital budgeting for equipment and new technology introductions.
• Establish and apply standard costing methods and cost‑management processes.
• Drive continuous improvement projects, productivity automation and strategic capacity expansion.
• Conduct business continuity, risk assessments and mentor junior engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor processes and industrial engineering tools.
• Excellent communication, presentation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Team‑player mindset with a proactive attitude.
