About the role

We are looking for a Senior Information Technology Consultant to design, develop and maintain high‑performance enterprise applications. The role focuses on Java‑based microservices, cloud‑native development and modern DevOps practices, working closely with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

Design, develop, test and deploy Java microservices and distributed applications.
Build scalable RESTful APIs and backend services using Spring Boot and related frameworks.
Collaborate with architects, product owners and development teams to define technical solutions and application architecture.
Implement best practices for security, performance, reliability and maintainability.
Integrate services with databases, messaging systems and third‑party applications.
Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards.
Troubleshoot production issues and optimise performance.
Implement automated testing, CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
Support cloud migration and cloud‑native initiatives.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
Minimum 6 years of Java application development experience.
At least 3 years working with microservices architecture.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
