Senior IT Audit Manager

About the role

Bitdeer is seeking a Senior IT Audit Manager to join its Risk Management (Internal Audit) team. The role will lead end‑to‑end IT audit engagements and support US SOX, ISO 27001 and SOC 1/2 audit activities, ensuring robust internal controls and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct IT risk assessments across infrastructure, cloud, data governance, cybersecurity, and application systems.
• Maintain deep knowledge of IT Application Controls (ITAC) and their impact on business processes.
• Partner with IT on system changes, clarifying ownership between infrastructure and control design.
• Drive continuous improvement of the control environment and governance maturity.
• Identify and manage risks from process changes, system integrations, and automation initiatives.
• Support governance forums with insights on process and control enhancements.

Required profile

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• 4–6 years of experience in IT audit, cybersecurity, technical audit, consultancy or GRC roles, preferably within an internal or external audit environment of a US‑listed company.
• Hands‑on experience performing IT General Controls (ITGC) and IT Application Controls (ITAC) audits.
• Experience in a Big 4 auditing firm is strongly preferred.
• Solid knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST SP 800‑53, ISO 27002, ITIL and related standards.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices, including risk management, vulnerability management, incident response, cloud security controls and assurance.
