Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer (VMware, Hyper-V, or Nutanix)

About the role

Activate Interactive is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to join its Platform Operations team in Singapore. The role focuses on ensuring reliability and stability of on‑premises and hybrid infrastructure that supports mission‑critical government systems.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day operational support for compute, storage, virtualization, OS, backup, DR and HA platforms.
• Lead incident management for complex issues, including root‑cause analysis and recovery planning.
• Coordinate technical projects, track dependencies, manage risks and drive follow‑up across internal teams and vendors.
• Review and approve technical changes, service requests and ensure compliance with security and architectural standards.
• Support a multi‑year technology refresh programme while maintaining minimal downtime.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering within regulated or government environments.
• Proven ability to work with L1 vendor engineers and internal teams to resolve incidents.
• Strong analytical skills and experience in technical governance.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
