Senior Java Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our collaborative Agile team at Aleph. You will design and build highly available, distributed enterprise Java applications where performance and reliability are critical.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and analyse user requirements and define system specifications.
• Collaborate with planning teams to prototype enterprise systems and integration strategies.
• Develop core modules, write advanced code and mentor junior Java developers.
• Test completed code, resolve issues and ensure smooth deployment.
• Plan, execute and monitor feature deployments, maintaining systems throughout their lifecycle.
• Build, test and support mobile and web applications.
• Recommend software solutions for emerging banking functionality and reporting needs.
• Prioritise, assign and execute tasks across the software development life‑cycle.
• Ensure applications remain secure and up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Java application development.
