Senior Lecturer & Software Systems Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a senior professional who enjoys hands‑on software design and sharing knowledge through teaching. The role combines lecturing on software architecture and development with consultancy on emerging technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver courses covering software architecture, design and development.
• Supervise student projects and industry internships.
• Mentor and guide students throughout their learning journey.
• Explore emerging technologies through student projects and consultancy engagements.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Hands‑on experience delivering multiple software releases and applying modern software engineering practices.
• Passion for teaching, continuous learning and staying at the leading edge of technology.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work in an international environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in at least one enterprise‑ready OO language (C, C++, Java, C#, Go).
• Experience with web and mobile development stacks.
• Knowledge of IoT, AI/ML, and intelligent systems.
• Familiarity with Agile SDLC, Scrum, DevOps and automation tools.
• Experience engineering Big Data solutions (NoSQL, data warehouses, data lakes).
• Ability to prototype real‑time cyber‑physical systems with voice, gesture or touch interfaces.
