Senior Manager - Business Analyst

About the role

Eastspring, a global asset manager with Asia at its core, is hiring a Senior Manager - Business Analyst. The role covers requirements gathering, solution assessment and validation, change management and implementation support, and small-scale data, technology and AI-enabled transformation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Elicit requirements from investments, operations, finance, data and technology stakeholders, analyse them for data flows, lineage, quality, controls and AI opportunities, and assess impacts across processes, systems, data models and operating models
• Analyse data to support data quality, standardisation, lineage, reconciliation and business readiness, and obtain sign-off on requirements, data mappings and testing artefacts
• Work with Architecture, Data and Technology teams to ensure fit-for-purpose solutions, run workshops on solution options, workflows and design documents, and support functional, integration, data, regression and UAT testing
• Support change management communications and adoption planning, and provide implementation support including query resolution, troubleshooting, vendor liaison and issue triage
• Manage small data, technology and AI transformation projects, report progress, risks, dependencies and decisions, administer governance forums, and contribute to status reporting, RAID, change control, compliance and benefits tracking

Required profile

• Degree level or higher; 5-8 years of financial services business analyst experience, preferably in asset management, data or technology transformation
• BA experience in asset management or equivalent financial services, preferably across data or technology transformation
• Familiarity with Asian markets, regional operating practices and Singapore-based investment stakeholders
• Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated and able to work independently in ambiguous, cross-functional environments
• Experience in process mapping, data mapping, requirements capture, stakeholder analysis, traceability and AI use-case framing
• Fluency in written and spoken English

Required skills

• Understanding of project management, business analysis and change delivery methodologies
• Working knowledge of portfolio management, risk, compliance and buy-side investment lifecycle processes
• Experience across major asset classes and related data, trade and processing lifecycles
• Strong foundation in buy-side data models (portfolio, security, market, pricing, transaction, position, finance, product, data quality)
• Experience working directly with portfolio managers, dealers, operations, finance, technology and data stakeholders
• Experience with Aladdin is advantageous
