Senior Manager, Career Services

About the role

NTUC is seeking a Senior Manager to lead its Career Services & Partnership Group. You will drive employment and employability outcomes for jobseekers and working individuals through coaching, job‑matching, and collaborative outreach initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Coach jobseekers to become job‑ready and achieve placement targets.
• Partner with internal units and external organisations to ensure smooth career centre operations.
• Plan and execute outreach programmes that promote career services to the community.
• Draft case notes, analyse data and recommend strategies such as training courses, resume writing and interview preparation.
• Apply career‑coaching techniques in one‑to‑one and group settings, handling complex profiles.
• Monitor, track and analyse jobseeker progress, providing timely follow‑up.
• Build and maintain relationships with government, private partners and training providers.
• Manage deployment and performance of outreach coaches, overseeing KPIs.
• Handle feedback, appeals and ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in career coaching, employment services or related HR functions.
• Strong stakeholder‑management skills with ability to work across government and private sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver outreach initiatives.
• Analytical mindset for case‑note review and strategy formulation.
• Leadership experience in managing teams and monitoring performance metrics.
