Senior Manager, Construction Safety

About the role

AirTrunk is seeking a Senior Manager, Construction Safety to lead health, safety and risk initiatives across its construction projects in Singapore and Malaysia. Reporting to the AVP Safety, Development Projects, you will embed a strong safety culture, mentor senior management and ensure safe delivery of hyperscale data centre builds.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement EHS best‑practice frameworks, ensuring safety is a priority for employees, contractors and suppliers.
• Lead pre‑flight safety activities, risk assessments and safety resource planning before contract execution.
• Design, implement and maintain WHS policies, reporting mechanisms and compliance with legal and internal requirements.
• Drive safety‑in‑design initiatives and standardise vendor safety diligence across the region.
• Coach and lead a team of EHS professionals, managing incident and near‑miss processes and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 10+ years of safety leadership experience in high‑hazard industries such as construction, oil & gas, mining or processing plants within APAC.
• Proven ability to influence senior management, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical, research and data presentation capabilities.
• Excellent written communication and persuasive skills.
