Senior Manager / Executive Manager (Inspection), Risk Assurance Division

About the role

The Risk Assurance Division of IMDA's Resilience and Cybersecurity Group is recruiting a Senior Manager / Executive Manager (Inspection). The division's Holistic Assessment team assesses the cybersecurity risk posture of critical digital networks and systems and the cyber capabilities of organisations running them, using an evidence-based approach and working with industry stakeholders. The role sits within the Connectivity, Cybersecurity & Resilience Group, which strengthens the security of Singapore's digital infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Research and interpret the evolving cybersecurity landscape for Singapore's digital infrastructure, integrating threat intelligence and international best practices.
• Review and set inspection priorities based on the threat landscape, vulnerabilities found in cyber audit reports and implemented remediations.
• Design technical tests to validate the effectiveness of cybersecurity measures in the priority areas.
• Carry out the technical validation tests.
• Synthesise inspection findings on network strengths and vulnerabilities and recommend remediations.

Required profile

• Background in Information Security, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent, with 8 years of experience in relevant fields or capacity.
• Relevant OSCP, CREST or GIAC certification in offensive operations or equivalent.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with an inquisitive approach to testing methods.
• Excellent writing and communication skills, able to turn technical findings into strategic and business impact.
• Able to work independently and in teams, in a fast-paced environment.
