Senior Manager – Group Treasury

About the role

The Group Treasury team at SJ is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the full spectrum of treasury activities, supporting the company’s next phase of growth. You will partner with finance, legal, tax and business units to design financing strategies, manage cash, and mitigate financial risks.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review financing strategy, capital structure and banking requirements.
• Maintain the SJ Bond Programme and bank loan administration, including KPI reporting and covenant compliance.
• Assess and secure cost‑efficient funding options such as loans and EMTNs.
• Negotiate financing terms, loan documents and hedging agreements, including ISDA contracts.
• Formulate and execute hedging strategies for interest‑rate and FX risk.
• Manage liquidity, cash‑flow forecasting and inter‑company funding structures.
• Collaborate with Business Line Finance on working‑capital reviews and cash‑conversion improvements.
• Support corporate‑finance matters, including M&A, joint‑venture and investment evaluations.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in corporate treasury, financing and risk management.
• Proven ability to work across finance, legal, tax and business functions.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Track record of managing large‑scale bond programmes and loan facilities.
