Finance Manager – South East Asia

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Manager to lead and develop our finance function across the South‑East Asia region. The role will oversee reporting, analysis, project and commercial finance, driving financial performance and operational efficiency for the group.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accurate financial data for the SEA region, ensuring timely reporting and insightful analysis of commercial, financial and project performance.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cost control and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with SJ Group policies, procedures, systems and internal controls across all finance processes.
• Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships to support client management.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of finance professionals, ensuring optimal performance and retention.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or related field; MBA or similar postgraduate qualification is a plus.
• Proven experience in a similar finance leadership role within a corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of business and management principles, especially cost control.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
