About the role

The Senior Manager will lead the Surgery Centre’s operations, ensuring smooth patient flow, optimal resource use, and high‑quality trauma care. This role combines operational leadership with strategic planning to drive clinical excellence and community outreach.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, lead and coordinate centre operations, managing patient flow and resource allocation.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and champion clinical excellence across trauma services.
• Collaborate with medical, nursing, allied health and administrative teams to develop best‑practice workflows.
• Engage government agencies, community partners and internal stakeholders to enhance trauma care, injury‑prevention programs and public education.
• Oversee staff training and development, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support accreditation processes.
• Lead emergency preparedness and response planning.
• Develop and execute the centre’s strategic plan, translating it into operational KPIs and measurable outcomes.
• Design and scale integrated trauma care workflows, optimizing the patient journey.
• Build data dashboards and analytics frameworks to monitor outcomes, utilisation and performance.
• Translate data insights into actionable improvements and support predictive‑analytics tools.
• Lead community outreach initiatives on injury prevention and trauma awareness.
• Support business planning, budgeting and resource optimisation for the centre.
