Senior Marine Executive

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Marine Executive to lead our marine underwriting team in Singapore. You will mentor junior staff, develop client relationships, and drive profitable growth in the marine insurance portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Mentor and coach junior staff, enhancing their product and market knowledge.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities while maintaining relationships with existing customers.
• Underwrite marine risks within authority limits, provide technical advice, and liaise with regional and overseas units and reinsurers.
• Participate in company committees and ad‑hoc projects to improve operations.
• Manage credit control procedures and bad‑debt recovery.
• Ensure departmental efficiency and effectiveness.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the general insurance industry.
• Relevant tertiary education and at least a CGI qualification.
• Strong business acumen, result‑orientation, and excellent communication skills.
