Senior MEP Project Engineer – Pneumatic Tube Systems

About the role

We are looking for a Senior MEP Project Engineer to lead the tendering, design coordination and execution of Pneumatic Tube Systems (PTS) for hospital projects. The role covers the full project lifecycle from technical and financial preparation of tender documents to on‑site supervision, system routing and testing & commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret hospital tender drawings, specifications and Bill of Quantities for PTS and related automation.
• Source and evaluate quotations from PTS equipment manufacturers, piping suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare technical proposals, method statements, compliance matrices and system schematics for public healthcare tenders.
• Coordinate detailed shop drawings, 3D BIM/Revit layouts and resolve clashes with other MEP services.
• Supervise on‑site installation of pneumatic lines, diverter units, blower stations and user terminals in accordance with infection control and safety standards.
• Lead pressure testing, software configuration and integration of the PTS with Hospital Information Systems during the testing & commissioning phase.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or Building Services.
• 2–5 years of MEP construction experience with exposure to pneumatic tube or automated material handling systems in a healthcare environment.
• Familiarity with Singapore construction tendering processes (GeBIZ, BCA codes) and hospital settings.
