Senior Mobile Engineer (Mobile & Wearables)

About the role

Sidekick Labs is looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer to join its mobile and wearables team in Singapore. You will shape the user‑facing hardware interfaces and companion apps that bring AI‑powered AR smart glasses to life for travelers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of end‑user hardware interfaces and companion experiences using Kotlin Multiplatform.
• Deliver high‑performance, consistent experiences across iOS, Android, and Sidekick’s proprietary wearable glasses.
• Integrate multimodal AI capabilities directly into the user’s field of vision.
• Work across the full stack of a custom‑built device, from KMP logic on the glasses to the companion mobile app.
• Collaborate closely with the CTO and the engineering team, participating in technical calls and decision‑making.
• Help grow the mobile and wearables team as the company scales.

• Strong ownership mindset and ability to work autonomously in a lean team.
• Maturity to balance trade‑offs, voice disagreements, and commit to team decisions.
• Comfort with rapidly evolving technologies such as smart wearables, AR, and AI.
• Curiosity about AI tools and a clear‑eyed view of how to leverage them.
