Senior Paediatric Nurse

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Senior Nurse with paediatric experience to join WhiteCoat’s clinical team, delivering safe, gentle, and efficient care to our patients. You will be the calm, capable presence in the room, whether it’s a routine vaccination or a worried parent’s first visit, working closely with doctors to keep paediatric care smooth and comfortable for children and their families.

Key responsibilities

• Measure height, weight and vital signs such as blood pressure and ECG.
• Perform vaccinations and injections with precision and care.
• Carry out suctioning procedures to maintain airway patency.
• Administer nebulisations and monitor respiratory response.
• Conduct finger‑prick blood tests and swab tests following protocol.
• Facilitate blood and urine sample collection while protecting patient dignity.
• Perform simple dressing changes with strict infection‑control practices.
• Manage administrative tasks including appointment scheduling, billing, parent communication and documentation.
• Oversee clinic rostering and staff scheduling.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with a valid Singapore Nursing Board registration.
• Prior experience in paediatric nursing or a similar outpatient setting.
• Competent in phlebotomy, finger‑prick testing, nebulisation, vital‑signs monitoring and swab testing.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced clinic with young patients and anxious parents.
• Valid BCLS/BLS certification.
• Strong communication skills and meticulous documentation and infection‑control practices.
