Senior Planning Engineer – Civil Infrastructure Projects

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Planning Engineer to lead project planning, programme management and project controls for major civil infrastructure developments across Singapore. The role works closely with construction, engineering and contracts teams to ensure schedules are realistic and delivery is on track.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update and maintain master programmes and detailed construction schedules.
• Monitor construction progress, resources and activities against approved programmes.
• Manage programme updates, including revised activities, sequencing, additional works and time requirements.
• Analyse project progress, identify potential delays and assess their impact.
• Prepare recovery programmes and revised construction sequences when required.
• Coordinate planning and progress requirements with construction, engineering and contracts teams.
• Prepare progress reports, manpower/resource forecasts and programme updates.
• Maintain programme records and supporting documentation for delays, extensions of time and contractual claims.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline.
• Strong project planning experience within the construction industry, specifically on civil/infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in progress monitoring, delay analysis and recovery programme preparation.
• Excellent analytical, coordination, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
