Senior PMO – Digital Banking & Payments Transformation

About the role

We are seeking a Senior PMO to lead end‑to‑end delivery of complex banking and financial services technology projects across digital banking, payments, regulatory technology and financial transformation initiatives. The role will involve managing both Agile/Scrum and Waterfall delivery models while coordinating with cross‑functional and geographically distributed teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, estimate, execute, track and close large‑scale banking technology projects.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews and retrospectives.
• Drive business analysis activities, including requirements gathering, gap analysis and functional specification development.
• Develop and manage test strategies, SIT/UAT execution, regression testing and defect management.
• Manage RAID (risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies) throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with business, technology, operations, compliance, risk, vendors and third‑party partners.
• Ensure solutions meet regulatory, compliance, quality and business requirements.
• Provide regular status updates to senior stakeholders and support continuous improvement of delivery practices.

Required profile

• 14+ years of experience in Banking and Financial Services IT.
• Proven experience in project management, program delivery, Scrum Master, senior business analysis and test management.
• Strong background in digital banking, payments, SWIFT messaging, regulatory technology, AML/KYC and financial crime solutions.
• Hands‑on experience with fast payments, GIRO, MEPS, PayNow, telegraphic transfers and bulk payments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multi‑disciplinary, multi‑location teams.
