Senior Principal / Principal / Senior Pharmacist

About the role

The upcoming Eastern General Hospital (EGH) is seeking pharmacists for its planning office. EGH aims to deliver excellent, person-centred healthcare with comprehensive clinical specialties across emergency, inpatient and outpatient services, and wants to be a great hospital for the community and a great workplace for staff. The roles support EGH Pharmacy in delivering pharmaceutical services, working with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide pharmaceutical care, optimise drug therapy and ensure safe, timely and cost-effective medication use.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pharmaceutical care and drug information services to patients and healthcare professionals.
• Identify, resolve and prevent drug-related problems to improve patient outcomes.
• Educate patients, caregivers, pharmacy students and healthcare providers.
• Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure continuity of care.
• Contribute to the growth of EGH and EGH Pharmacy through relevant activities.

Required profile

• A degree in Pharmacy recognised by the Singapore Pharmacy Council.
• Full registration with the Singapore Pharmacy Council and a current practising certificate in Singapore.
• Experience appropriate to the job grade applied for; hospital pharmacy practice experience preferred.
• Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
