Senior Process Engineer – R&D

About the role

As a Senior Process Engineer (R&D) you will design, collect data, analyze and report on complex process engineering experiments while supporting customers and advancing next‑generation semiconductor technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, collect data, analyze and compile reports on a variety of difficult process engineering experiments, within safety guidelines.
• Perform hardware characterization on a variety of difficult systems, within safety guidelines.
• Troubleshoot complex problems, conduct root‑cause analysis and resolve challenging process engineering issues.
• Generate internal and external documentation for products, presentations and technical reports.
• Interact with customers to resolve process engineering issues with limited supervision.
• Measure film properties and interpret data.
• Identify, select and work with vendors and suppliers with limited supervision.
• Implement new technology, products and analytical instrumentation.

Required profile

• PhD or Master’s Degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or a related field.
• Research focus in semiconductors is an added advantage.
• Relevant experience in semiconductor process development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem‑solver attitude with determination and a quality‑mindset.
• Work location: Science Park II (moving to Tampines office from Apr 2027).
• Full‑time, regular employee (assignee).
• Travel requirement: up to 10% of the time.
