Senior Project Manager

About the role

Johnson Controls is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead on‑site mechanical and electrical (M&E) projects. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead on‑site project activities, coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Define client requirements, produce pre‑construction documents, schedules, specifications, schematics and tender drawings.
• Manage a portfolio of approved M&E contractors, ensuring collaboration and adherence to timelines.
• Oversee project cost procurement, budgeting, and financial target achievement.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients, consultants and colleagues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor installation of M&E services to ensure compliance with specifications, health, safety and fire regulations.
• Document and verify receipt of certifications, drawings, financial records and other project documentation.
• Provide technical support to other departments and produce progress reports for management.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in managing construction or M&E projects.
• Proven ability to lead on‑site teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of project budgeting, procurement and contract management.
• Excellent communication skills and a focus on client satisfaction.
