Senior Project Manager / Project Manager - Road Construction

About the role

This role leads a team managing the construction of road projects, with emphasis on depressed roads, underpasses and road tunnels. It covers overall project coordination, resolving technical and contractual issues, and ensuring the safety, quality and timely delivery of contractors' works. The position also involves preparing tender specifications, calls and awards.

Required profile

• At least 8 years of relevant experience in a project or construction environment
• Knowledge of civil, structural and geotechnical engineering
• Experience with expressways, road interchanges, flyovers, underpasses and depressed road structures preferred
• Civil or structural design experience is an advantage; underground works such as earth retaining, deep excavation, ground improvement or pipe jacking/tunnelling are also favoured
• Proven initiative and ability to champion a project from conception to implementation
• Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills and strong analytical skills

• Proficiency in relevant software programmes for planning and project works
• Knowledge of civil, structural and geotechnical engineering
