Senior QA Manager – Laboratory Services

About the role

Illumina is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Manager to lead the QA function for its Laboratory Service in Singapore. The role ensures that the laboratory’s quality management system meets global standards and supports the company’s mission to expand access to genomic technology worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the clinical quality system manager for Illumina Laboratory Services Singapore, establishing and maintaining compliance with relevant quality standards.
• Lead and develop a team of QA staff, handling resource planning, talent development, and performance metrics.
• Prepare and host management reviews, report QMS performance to leadership, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate external QMS assessments, plan corrective actions, and monitor their effectiveness.
• Collaborate with global ILS quality management to share best practices and enhance processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in quality assurance within laboratory services or related environments.
• Familiarity with ISO15189, ISO17025, ISO13485 standards and/or HCSA licensing.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer‑focused skills.
• Demonstrated leadership ability to work across teams and functions.
