Senior Quantity Surveyor

About the role

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will lead cost management activities for construction projects, ensuring accurate quotations, cost estimates, and comprehensive tender documentation. This position requires close collaboration with consultants, main contractors, sub‑contractors, clients and suppliers to resolve cost‑related issues and support successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Source quotations, perform price comparisons and compile costing summaries.
• Prepare detailed project cost estimates and budgets.
• Develop tender and contract documents in line with project requirements.
• Liaise with consultants, main contractors, sub‑contractors, clients and vendors to address cost queries and negotiate terms.
• Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction lifecycle.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying.
• 7‑10 years of experience in a Quantity Surveying consultancy firm.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and contract administration.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities.
