Senior Quantity Surveyor – Main Contractor

About the role

Join a leading civil engineering contractor in Singapore as a Senior Quantity Surveyor. You will play a pivotal role in managing the financial and contractual aspects of large‑scale infrastructure projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse contract documents, perform precise measurements and prepare detailed Bills of Quantities.
• Assist in contract administration by preparing progress claims and liaising with client representatives on variations.
• Conduct tender pricing activities, request quotations, evaluate prices and compile competitive Bills of Quantities.
• Verify subcontractor and supplier claims, issue payment certificates and maintain financial integrity.
• Participate in site and progress claim meetings to ensure clear communication.
• Monitor completed projects during the defects liability period to uphold quality standards.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in civil engineering quantity surveying.
• Strong technical and contractual knowledge with high integrity.
• Independent yet collaborative team player capable of handling multiple projects.

Required skills

• Quantity surveying techniques and methodologies.
• Contract document analysis and measurement.
• Preparation of Bills of Quantities and progress claims.
• Claims verification and payment certification.
