Senior Quantity Surveyor – M&E (Construction)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor specialised in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) construction to lead tender processes for a major Singapore‑based project. The role involves managing cost estimation, preparing tender documents and supporting contract administration for a reputable M&E contractor with over 30 years of experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end tender activities including cost estimation, preparation of Bills of Quantities, tender submissions and client presentations.
• Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers throughout the tender lifecycle.
• Review value‑engineering proposals and assess their cost impact.
• Monitor market pricing trends, prepare performance reports and support contract administration, claims and dispute resolution.
• Mentor and guide junior tender team members to ensure quality and efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in tender management, quantity surveying or contract management within electrical or M&E construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems and construction contracts.
• Fluent in Chinese to liaise with Chinese‑speaking stakeholders.
