Senior Quantity Surveyor – SGD 4,000‑6,000/month

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team in Singapore. The role involves managing cost aspects of commercial projects from pre‑tender through to final account.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review quantity take‑offs, cost estimates and tender submissions.
• Manage pre‑ and post‑tender activities, including variation orders, progress claims and final accounts.
• Source, negotiate and procure materials, equipment and subcontractor services.
• Monitor project budgets, implement cost‑saving and value‑engineering measures.
• Conduct site surveys, measurements and valuations with clients and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with sales, design and project teams on contractual and M&E matters.
• Analyse tender returns for cost competitiveness and contractual compliance.
• Support project teams with technical proposals, progress tracking and resolution of contractual issues.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial construction projects.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Proficiency with quantity take‑off tools and technical drawing interpretation.
• Strong knowledge of contract administration, project budgeting and cost control practices.
• Capability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
