Senior Recruitment Consultant - Banking and Finance

About the role

Michael Page, a global recruitment leader present in over 30 countries, is recruiting a Senior Recruitment Consultant in its Singapore office for a client in banking and finance. You will manage end-to-end recruitment while building strong client partnerships, with clear progression and strong training.

Key responsibilities

• Build relationships with existing and prospective clients and understand their businesses, structures and hiring needs
• Identify new business through market research, client outreach, referrals and networking
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: briefings, sourcing and assessment, interview coordination, offer negotiation and placement follow-up
• Build candidate networks across banking and financial services functions
• Work with hiring managers on expertise, product knowledge, experience and qualifications required
• Assess candidates and advise clients and candidates on talent availability, remuneration and hiring requirements
• Prepare recruitment proposals and negotiate fees and service terms within company guidelines
• Maintain accurate recruitment records and uphold confidentiality and fair recruitment practices

Required profile

• Experience in recruitment, banking, financial services, sales, business development or account management
• Interest in banking and financial services; experience recruiting for or working in the sector is an advantage
• Ability to understand financial services roles and communicate with hiring managers and candidates
• Commercial awareness and ability to identify business opportunities and develop accounts
• Clear communication and negotiation skills, with a consultative approach
• Strong research and organisational skills, able to manage several assignments
• Ability to work independently in a collaborative team
