Senior Recruitment Consultant - Technology

About the role

Michael Page, a global recruitment leader present in over 30 countries, is recruiting a Senior Recruitment Consultant in Singapore for its technology and telecoms practice. You will partner with partner clients and technology professionals across diverse industries, develop specialist tech expertise and benefit from clear career progression.

Key responsibilities

• Build relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their businesses, technology environments and permanent hiring needs.
• Identify new commercial opportunities through market research, client outreach, referrals and networking.
• Manage the full permanent recruitment lifecycle: client briefings, candidate sourcing and assessment, interview coordination, offer negotiation and placement follow-up.
• Build candidate networks in software engineering, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, data and enterprise applications.
• Work with hiring managers to define technical expertise, experience and qualifications, and coordinate technical assessments and selection activities.
• Advise clients and candidates on talent availability, remuneration and hiring requirements, and prepare recruitment proposals and negotiate fees within company guidelines.
• Support clients and candidates through offer acceptance, notice periods and onboarding, and maintain contact after placement.
• Maintain accurate recruitment records and uphold fair recruitment practices, confidentiality and professional integrity.

Required profile

• Experience in recruitment, technology, technical sales, commercial development or account management, with transferable skills for client engagement and recruitment delivery.
• An interest in technology recruitment and a willingness to develop specialist market knowledge; experience recruiting for or working within technology functions is an advantage.
• Ability to understand technical hiring requirements and communicate with hiring managers and technology professionals.
• Commercial awareness, clear communication and negotiation skills, and strong research and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
